Gayle Blum and her family are long time residents of Waco. Gayle has been an insurance agent and agency owner for over 25 years in Central Texas. She is a graduate of Baylor University Hankamer School of Business and a member of the Baylor Alumnae Association.
Gayle has served on a variety of community service groups ranging from Chairman of G.A.T.E. Drug Education Program, Junior League of Waco, Historic Waco Foundation and Docent, Waco Symphony Council, Waco Cotton Palace Pagaent, Tri Delta Alumnae, St.Paul's Episcopal School, Waco Baptist Academy and Vanguard College Preparatory School. Gayle and her husband Brady, support Baylor Athletics, Baylor Cheer Squad, Vanguard Athletics and several other local teams.
Gayle's career in insurance began in 1984 with the start-up of an Allstate Agency, where she continued until 2010. "The insurance market and economy was changing. With only one company and one pricing we had no options as the rates continued to increase ..... it became clear that we needed a variety of companies to offer a better choice in rates and products," she said. In March 2010, Blum Insurance left Allstate and joined with Paragon Independent Agencies- selling policies with such top-rated companies as Progressive, Travelers, Safeco, Unitrin and several others.
Now that Gayle is an Independent Agent she and her staff will be able to offer more options and choices when serving the insurance needs of the people from Waco and the surrounding areas. Blum Insurance serves the entire state of Texas with many of our clients living in all areas of Texas.
Guadalupe "Wally" Perez is the office manager and licensed sales associate with licenses in Property and Casualty, plus Life and Health. She has been with Gayle for almost 9 years and is fluent in Spanish. Wally has lived in Waco her entire life and attended Robinson High School and McLennan Community College. She and her family are active in many school, sports and community activities.
